Welcome to Michael Kruger Photography!

South African born, Michael Kruger has a diploma in fashion photography from the London School of Film, Radio and Television, which he completed in 2007. He is currently living and working as a freelance fashion, music and events photographer in Dubai. As should be expected he is creative and versatile working in both the studio and on location.

Typically Michael shoots with fashion designers, agencies, models, hair and makeup artist’s stylists, as well as ad agencies, signed musicians both in Dubai and Europe. His event work varies from fashion shows and events, music and corporate.

Michael’s list of clients include: World renowned Pakistani designer Gul Amed, from the UK, L’Oreal UK, designer Omar Mansoor and Imi Handbag Creations. In Dubai they vary from L’Oreal Middle East, First Mode, Louise Harrison Couture, Skull Eye Designs, Rimmel London Middle East and more.

Michael’s work has taken him across the globe, from London, Dubai, Dublin, Cape Town and Gothenburg, of which most of Michael’s work is spent shooting new and varied designer collections. He has 3 front covers and a major spread, published in MINE, Ya Hala and BBC Good Food Magazines respectfully. He also shoots for Grazia Magazine ME (ITP Publishing) on a regular basis. In addition, is an international award winning photographer, recently picking up the regional 1st place award in a competition in Ireland, as well as a Grand Finalist in the EBS (Irish Bank) for "Family Moments" competition.

Michael is actively involved in fashion photography education, running both private workshops for the public as well as a couple Dubai universities. It is Michael’s goal is to continue growing as a photographer through further educating himself and by further developing his portfolio by working with agencies and high profile clients with the aim to get more work published with recognition in the Gulf region as well as Europe.
